Wesley Korir, winner of the 2009 and 2010 Los Angeles Marathon visited Banning High School. He also holds the L.A. Marathon
record with a time of 2:08:24 (2009). He brought with him a message that you can be whatever you want to be if you decide
to do it no matter the conditions you are living in. He told of us of his rough childhood in Kenya and how he made it to the
United States. He answer several questions and provided motivation for the Banning marathon runners.
