Re-Cap of 2/27/08 Match vs. Eagle Rock
Congratulations
to the Boys Tennis Team for a great effort during yesterday's match vs. Eagle Rock, despite coming up short of the victory,
there were several stand-out performances.
In Singles, John Ngo, made his career debut & played very well against a much more experienced player, taking three
games in the 2nd set. Will Guzman's play was also noticed as outstanding, drawing praise from the opposing coach.
In Doubles, 2nd-year partners Jonathan Melgar & Oliver Arreaga
led all Pilots, in taking 5 games off of the Eagles.
In Exhibition play, Ricardo Zaragoza, (also making his career debut), teamed up with Hernan Suarez as both played well.
Meanwhile, in his 2nd exhibition match of the day, Jesus Valladolid impressed with his hustle, diving to the ground to hit
an amazing match-winning shot.
