4/30/09 - City-Wide Seeding Meeting Produces Good News for the Pilots!

Congratulations to the Boys Tennis Team for another incredible regular season.  After completing the season sweep over Narbonne in the season finale, the Pilots finished with a league record of 7-3 & accomplished several feats this season.  In addition to producing a 4^th straight season with a winning record, the Pilots also took 2^nd place in the Marine League for the 3^rd time in the last 4 years.  As a result, the Pilots will also make their 4^th straight playoff appearance as the #9 seed in the L.A. C.I.F. - City Section Invitational Playoffs.

In addition to the team success, last week's city-wide seeding meeting revealed that the Pilots will also be sending 6 players to the individual tournament.  Out of close to 200 doubles teams, Ricardo Zaragoza & Ignacio Torres, Hernan Suarez & Justin Garcia, as well as Victor Duran & Joseph Mejia will be joining the top 56 doubles tandems in the L.A. C.I.F. City Section Individual Doubles Playoffs later this month.
