Congratulations to the Girls Tennis Team for a valiant effort vs. Narbonne on Monday. Despite the defeat, the Pilots walked
away encouraged by a multitude of close matches. In singles, Stephanie Salazar produced one of her best efforts of the
season as shed jumped out to an early lead, yet couldn't hold on late, finally falling 6-8. In doubles, all 3 matches were
extremely tight with the #2 & #3 pairs going down by those same scores, while Jazmine Andrade & Laia Andrade battled
throughout until finally succumbing in the tie-break. In JV/Exhibition action, the Pilots got a pair of wins there, including
a 6-0 shutout by Juana Gonzalez & Vanessa Nunez, as well as an impressive 6-1 victory for Jocelyn Correa & Kimberly
Sebastian. Great job Pilots & good luck as the team looks to rebound from a 3-match losing streak vs. San Pedro on Friday!
