9/10/16 - Lady Pilots Alumni Game
The 2016 Lady Pilots Alumni Game was a
smashing success as the team gathered with so many players from the team's glorious past for a day of tennis, friendship &
networking, as the team had its largest alumni turnout ever, with 18 former Lady Pilots in attendance, as the team celebrated
the traditions of Banning Tennis over the course of more than 20 years.
The day's activities centered
around the doubles tournament where each pair featured both a current player and an alum in a round-robin 1st round,
followed by a single elimination beginning in the semifinals. The championship featured Norma Santamaria ('09) &
Emily Garcia ('18) who finished up as runners-up to Marivi Angel ('15) & Elaine Gomez ('17). Congratulations to
all players on a great day of tennis.
