Congratulations to the Lady Pilots Tennis Team for a great effort vs. perennial Eastern
League powerhouse, Bell. In singles, the Pilots struggled to get on track vs. a veteran Eagles lineup, with Darla Romo
posting the most games in those 4 losses. In doubles, the scores were much closer with the Pilots even taking the 3rd
doubles matchup. After Dahlia Castillo & Jazmin Cuevas were trailing 3-4 in a very tight back-and-forth affair. They came
back & won 5 consecutive games to close out their match for the only team victory on the day vs. a tough Eagles squad.
In JV/Exhibition play, Emily Garcia & Evelyn Lagunas battled as well, for a close 5-7 loss. Great job Pilots &
good luck as the team looks to rebound on Friday vs. Elizabeth LC!
