Pilots Sink the Pirates, Sweep Season Series...

Congratulations to the Boys Tennis Team for a great 6-1 win over San Pedro on Wednesday.  In doubles, the Pilots dominated, sweeping all 3 matches, & outscoring the Pirates 36 games to only 6.  Fernando Corona & Esteban Zavala, as well as Leo Alvarado & Eli Villareal, who was making his varsity debut, all posted a 6-0 shutout set in their matches.  In singles, the Pilots took 3 of the 4 matches, pulling out some incredibly tight sets.  In JV/Exhibition play, the Pilots won 4 of the 5 matches played, including a pair of wins over San Pedro's varsity doubles starters by Jonathan Bustamante & Josias Rabanales, as well as Roger Lorenzan & Nestor Hernandez. Great job Pilots & good luck vs. Rancho Dominguez on Friday!
