The
2016 Alumni Day was once again a great event, as 21 Alumni were present, perhaps the most ever in Alumni Day history.
The team had the great pleasure of welcoming back last year’s graduates to the list of Alumni in house, as well as welcoming
a first-time attendee from the class of ’94. Also back in the mix after several years was Pilots’ legend,
Joe Banday, who wowed with his advanced abilities, and advanced to the Semifinals of the tournament.
The championship
match featured Senior Michael Gonzalez, who teamed up with 2015’s, Julio Sanchez, who was making his 2nd
consecutive appearance in the championship. Gonzalez & Sanchez finished as runners-up to a pair of ’08 grads,
Fernando Moncloa & Andres Suarez.
We again want to thank all of the faithful alumni who consistently
make it out & participate in our doubles tournament, and we look forward to seeing as many of you as possible throughout
the season & at next year's event as well. Let's Go Pilots!
