Congratulations to the Lady Pilots Tennis Team for who will be making their 10th consecutive
trip to the team playoffs. Making the news even more exciting is the fact that the girls team will be making perhaps
their very first appearance in the Division I Team Playoffs in school history. With a new points system that designated
the Pilots as part of a 16-team pool of schools vying for 12 spots in the highest division, the Pilots feared that their 2-6
league record would shut off their chances. However, with an 8-1 non-league record which included wins over 2 league
champions (Downtown & Legacy), the Pilots were able to secure the 10th seed where they will face off vs. a familiar foe
in Taft, the #7 Seed. Although it goes without saying, the Pilots' end-of-season ranking as a top-10 team in the entire
CIF LA City Section is also a first, and a tremendous honor & point of pride. Great Job Pilots on a fabulous regular
season & good luck vs. the Toreadors on Wednesday!
