Pilots Tame the Tigers in Close Match...

Congratulations to the Girls Tennis Team for a great, close win over Legacy on Monday.  In Singles, the Pilots fell just short of sweeping all 4 matches, yet still took 3 of 4 with solid wins from Elaine Gomez, Alondra Gudino & Leslie Leon.  In doubles, the Pilots needed exactly one win to clinch the overall team victory & got just that as Ingrid Escarrega made her varsity debut, & teamed up with Darla Romo for one of the two most dominant wins on the day.  In JV/Exhibition play, Emily Garcia & Meya Vargas continued to gel as a unit, winning 6-1, while Vanessa Jaramillo & Evelyn Lagunas recovered after allowing a 4-0 lead to slip, winning 6-5.  Great Job Pilots & Good Luck vs. Carson on Senior Day in the team's regular season finale!
