Pilots Fall to the Panthers in League Opener...

Congratulations to the Lady Pilots Tennis Team for a great effort in Tuesday's league opener vs. Gardena. In singles Alondra Gudino battled in a great back-and-forth match before falling, while Leslie Leon dominated her opponent 8-1 in the lone win for the Pilots' Varsity squad.  In doubles, Milka Jimenez & Brenda Lomeli took 3 games in their match, while Vanessa Jaramillo & Evelyn Lagunas took 4 in theirs.  In JV/Exhibition play, the Pilots took 3 of the 6 origianlly scheduled matches as Jazmin Cuevas & Emily Garcia, Jocelyn Correa & Laia Freeman, as well as Francheska Kosonoy & Stacey Negrete all won.  In their 2nd match played on the day, Dahlia Castillo & Meya Vargas won 6-3.  Great Job Pilots & Good Luck vs. Narbonne on Thursday!
