Pilots Pound the Generals...

Congratulations to the boys tennis team for a great victory over Washington on Friday.  Not only did the Pilots win all 7 matches, but they outscored the Generals 84 games to only 5. In singles, the Pilots only gave up 1 game, producing three 6-0, 6-0 shutouts including one by Omar Renteria making his varsity singles career debut.  In doubles, the Pilots swept all 3 matches led by Jonathan Guray & Julio Sanchez's 6-0, 6-0 shutout.  In JV/Exhibition play, the Pilots continued their dominance, outscoring the Generals 32 games to only 2, including a pair of 8-0 shutouts and a victory over a pair of varsity opponents.  Great job Pilots & good luck at the SCTA's 1st Serve Tournament on Saturday at West Torrance High!
