Congratulations to the Boys Tennis Team for a great 5-2 victory
over San Pedro on Wednesday. In singles, the Pilots took 3
of 4, including dominant wins by Brayan Camacho & Jorge Zavala, with Zavala producing a 6-0 shutout in his 1st set. Meanwhile, Julian
Frausto avenged his 2 defeats in 2014 to the Pirates’ top player, winning in straight sets.
In doubles, the Pilots took 2 of 3 with Jonathan Guray & Julio Sanchez, as well as Michael
Garcia & JoseAngel Sotelo both producing a shutout set apiece. In
JV/Exhibition play, Daniel Gudino & Gerardo Lopez continue their push for a spot on the varsity lineup, producing an 8-0
shutout vs. their varsity opponents. In addition, Isidro Aguilar
teamed up with varsity teammate Julian Frausto, and defeated a pair of varsity opponents as well.
