Congratulations to the Boys Tennis Team for a good effort in Friday's loss to Narbonne. After
the high of defeating the league's top contender on Monday, the loss to the Gauchos was surely a disappointing one.
In singles, Julian Frausto lost an intense 3-set battle after shutting out his opponent 6-0 in the 1st set, while Brayan Camacho
completed a straight-set, but extremely tight win over a very pesky opponent, ending in a 2nd set tie-break. In doubles,
Salvador Lara & Omar Renteria seemed poised to take their 1st set before dropping 10 of the last 13 games, while Michael
Gonzalez & JoseAngel Sotelo seemed to cruise to a straight-set victory themselves. In JV/Exhibition action, Daneil Gudino
& Gerardo Lopez dominated in a 6-0 shutout, while Hugo DeLaCruz & Thomas Leos won 6-3. Good job Pilots & good
luck vs. San Pedro on Wednesday, as the Pilots begin a run of matches on 5 of 6 days.
