Congratulations to the Boys Tennis Team for their dominant victory over Centennial on Monday. Not only
did the Pilots win all 7 matches, but they outscored the Apaches 84 games to only 5. In singles, Chris Leon led the way with
2 shutout sets, while Frausto, Sanchez & Guray all finished their 2nd set with a shutout. In doubles, all 3 pairs
produced perfect 6-0, 6-0 shutouts, with Brayan Camacho & Jorge Zavala wrapping up their match in an extremely quick 25-minute
match. In JV/Exhibition play, Daniel Gudino & Gerardo Lopez fell just short of the shutout, but still dominated
their varsity opponents, while Isidro Aguilar also defeated his varsity opponents, as he teamed up with varsity teammate Julian
Frausto who played most of the match left-handed. Great Job Pilots & good luck vs. Gardena in the league opener
on Tuesday!
