Pilots Avenge 2014 Loss to Eagles...

Congratulations to the Boys Tennis Team for their 5-2 win over Bell on Monday.  In singles, Chris Leon shutout his opponent 6-0 in the 2nd set to close out his match, while Brayan Camacho won his match easily in straight sets as well.  Jorge Zavala outlasted his hard-hitting opponent in an impressive performance, while Julian Frausto fell just a few points short of victory in an extremely close match including an 8-10 tie-break.  In doubles, Jonathan Guray & Julio Sanchez played solidly in their win, while Michael Gonzalez & JoseAngel Sotelo won 12 of the last 16 games to complete a comeback after dropping the 1st set.  In JV/Exhibition play, Daniel Gudino made his career debut & teamed up with Thomas Leos for an 8-1 win, while Bruno Tovar also made his career debut & won 8-3 alongside partner, Ricardo Cervantes.  Great job Pilots & good luck vs. Rancho Dominguez on Thursday!
