Congratulations to the Lady Pilots Tennis Team for another dominant victory over league rival, San Pedro.
In singles, the Pilots took 3 of 4 matches with top player, Marivi Angel mounting an attempted comeback against the league's
top player. After trailing 0-7, Angel took 5 of the last 6 games, falling just short. In doubles, the Pilots swept
all 3 matches, outscoring the Pirates 24 games to only 2, with Sebastian & Torres, as well as Caballero & Ochoa posting
8-0 shutouts. In JV/Exhibition play, Jimenez & Lomeli won their match for the first time this season, while J. Gomez
& Manzano pulled out the tie-break victory in the longest match of the day. The win completed the season sweep over
San Pedro, avenging last year's losses t the Pirates. Great Job Pilots, & good luck vs. Washington on Monday!
