Pilots Remain Unbeated in League Play, Continue Their Win-Streak vs. the Lobos...

Congratulations to the Pilots for extending their win-streak over Marine League newcomer, Rancho Dominguez, to 5 games.  In Singles, Marivi Angel grinded out an extremely tight match vs. 2013's 5th-ranked Marine League singles player, while Brenda Torres dominated her opponent in an 8-0 shutout.  In doubles, the Pilots' domination continued as the team swept all 3 contests easily. In JV/Exhibition play, Gomez & Manzano once again defeated their varsity opponents in the only completed match, while Escarrega played a rare JV/Exhibition singles match and was leading 5-0 before the match was called.
