Congratulations to the Boys Tennis Team for a great effort during Thursday's match vs. Chatsworth.
Despite dropping all 7 matches to the Chancellors, the Pilots had many noteworthy performances. In singles, Manuel Leon
stood toe-to-toe with his opponent through the 1st half of each set, while JoeAnthony Rodriguez actually had a chance to take
the first set up 5-4, and battled back from an 0-3 deficit to tie it at 3-all in the 2nd. In doubles, despite a rocky
start, Isai Chun & Juan Mijares got on track in the 2nd set pushing their opponents to the very edge in a super-close
tie-break set, while Chris Leon & Cristian Talavera were even throughout. In JV/Exhibition play, Lance Mendoza &
Luis Prado had 2 wins on the day. Great Job Pilots & Good Luck on Senior Day vs. Carson after Spring Break!
