Congratulations to the Boys Tennis Team for another great victory over San Pedro on Friday. Not only
did the Pilots take 5 of the 7 matches, but by doing so completed the season sweep, returning the favor, after getting swept
by the Pirates in 2013. The win also provided a much-needed boost in the team's morale after a gut-wrenching upset loss vs.
Narbonne on Wednesday. In singles, Joshua Guray battled to pull out a tight 1st set in a tie-break, before cruising
in the 2nd, while Walter Camacho had a little vengeance of his own winning in straight sets after dropping a 3-set match vs.
the same opponent during the teams' 1st meeting. In doubles, the Pilots got back to their winning ways, winning all
3 matches in straight sets. In JV/Exhibition play, Jorge Zavala teamed up with Alfredo Talavera for his 1st win of the seaon
vs. varsity competition. Great Job Pilots & Good Luck vs. Washington on Tuesday!
