Pilots Down Gauchos, Defending Marine League Champions, in League Opener, Snapping an 8-Game Losing Streak to the Gauchos...

Congratulations to the Boys Tennis Team for crushing the defending Marine League Champions, Narbonne, in the team's league opener on Tuesday.  In singles, the Pilots took 3 of the 4 matches, including a grind-out-, 3-set win by Walter Camacho. In doubles, the Pilots once again remain undefeated, sweeping the Gauchos, including a 6-0, 6-0 shutout by Chris Leon & Cristian Talavera.  In exhibition play, the Pilots took 2 matches, including an 8-0 shutout by David Rubalcaba & Alfredo Talavera.
 
On another note, the win ended an 8-game losing streak to the Gauchos, and is only the 5th win for the Pilots over Narbonne in the last 21 matches.
 
Great Job Pilots, and good luck vs. San Pedro on Thursday!
