Congratulations to the boys tennis team for another amazing run in the Invitational Team Playoffs, making
their second consecutive trip in the semi-finals. The team played well after a grueling trip for the second consecutive
match way out in the valley. In singles Chris Leon and Julian Frausto both captured a point each for the Pilots. In
doubles Walter Camacho and Jonny Soria took two of their three matches while Manuel Leon and Ryo Miralles once again swept
all three of theirs. While this officially ends the team section of the boys season, Jonny Soria, Isai Chun & JoeAnthony
Rodriguez as well as Manuel Leon & Ryo Miralles all received entries to the CIF LA City Section Singles and Doubles
Championships next week at the Balboa Tennis Center in Encino. Great job Pilots, and good luck to the five players whose
season continues.
