Congratulations to the Boys Tennis Team for a great effort in the team's league
opener vs. Narbonne on Thursday. In singles, Manuel Leon won in straight sets, while Jonathan Soria came close to extending
the match with a close 2nd set. In doubles, Chris Leon & Cristian Talavera were impressive in a straight-sets
victory, while Isai Chun & JoeAnthony Rodriguez were close to pulling out the 1st set before succumbing in
the 2nd. In JV/Exhibition action, the Pilots took all 3 JV-pure contests with Julian Frausto & Javier Gonzalez
shutting out their opponents, and Jonathan Guray & Raul Martinez taking 4 games versus two of Narbonne's top varsity
starters. Great Job Pilots & Good Luck in the 1st Serve Tournament!
