Re-Cap of 10/18/12 Girls Tennis Match - Banning vs.
Washington
Congratulations to the Lady Pilots Tennis Team for completing their second
season sweep of the year, after dominating Washington on Thursday. Not only did the Pilots win all 7 matches, but they
outscored the Generals 56 games to only 7. In singles, all 4 Pilots won easily with Jocelyn Cuevas & Natalia Martinez
winning 8-0. In doubles, all 3 squads won, with Marivi Angel & Brenda Torres, as well as Leslie Leon & Natalia Vasquez
also shutting out their opponents. In JV/Exhibition action, Andrea Cardenas & Vianca Sebastian, as well as Elizabeth
Cano & Alondra Gudino also shut out some of their varsity opponents 6-0, while Paloma Granados & Alina Parra battled
two of Washington's top singles players to a 4-4 tie. Great Job Pilots & Good Luck on Monday vs. Rancho Dominguez!
