Congratulations to the Lady Pilots Tennis Team for an incredible effort in Monday's
match vs. Narbonne. In singles, Natalie Martinez & Sabrina Serrano both avenged their defeats to the Gauchos during
the team's league opener, winning 8-3 & 8-4 respectively. Renae Reyes mounted a comeback from 1-5, to get as close as
5-6 before falling, while Jocelyn Cuevas came back from 2-5 to force a tie-break at 7-all, before finally breaking down at
5-all in that tie-break. In doubles, Marivi Angel & Brenda Torres played exceptionally, winning 5 games, while Leslie
Leon & Natalia Vasquez also mounted an attempted comeback, winning 3 of the last 4 games, after trailing 2-7. IN
JV/Exhibition play, Elizabeth Cano & Alondra Gudino battled to a 7-7 tie before the match was called. Great Job
Pilots & Good Luck vs. San Pedro on Wednesday!
