Congratulations to Daniel Gomez & Miguel Pila for a great effort vs. the #1 seeds, Spencer Pekar
& Robert Silvers, from Palisades. Although the Pilots run in the C.I.F. L.A. City Section Doubles Championships
has now officially come to an end, Gomez & Pila have nothing but pride for their tremendous accomplishments this season.
After winning the Marine League Doubles Championship, and making it this far, Gomez & Pila have been named to the C.I.F.
L.A. City Section Al City Team, 2nd Team. Congratulations &
Great Job! UPDATE Gomez & Pila's
opponents, the #1 Seed in the tournament (Pekar/Silvers) from Palisades, completed their own undefeated season in C.I.F. L.A.
City Section play, and were crowned the champions of the C.I.F. L.A. City Section Doubles Championship after defeating the
#2 seeds, Roger Carnow & Arya Safi, from Granada Hills.
