& Pila then broke LACES' serve to force the tie-break, but quickly found themselves down 3-5 in the tie-break, before
winning 5 of the last 6 points in that tie-break to take the match.
With today's win, Gomez & Pila advance
to the quarterfinals, and have now secured a spot on the CIF LA City Section All-City Team; the first time a boys tennis doubles
squad from Banning has EVER been selected.
