Congratulations to the Boys Tennis Team for a dominating win in yesterday's
match vs. Washington. Not only did the Pilots win all 7 matches, but they also outscored the Generals 84 games to only
6.
In Singles, Oscar Renteria produced a complete shutout at 6-0, 6-0, while Manuel Leon & JoeAnthony
Rodriguez also had one shutout set apiece.
In Doubles, the Pilots were perfect, with Daniel Gomez
& Miguel Pila, Juan Gomez & Ryo Miralles, as well as Alex Chun & Isai Chun all winning 6-0, 6-0.
In
JV/Exhibition Action, the Pilots won 5 of the 7 matches played, with all 5 wins coming versus Varsity competition. Kevin
Lam & Juan Mijares, as well as David Rubalcaba & Ramon Sanchez joined in on the team's shutouts winning 8-0 &
6-0 respectively, while Alex Arredondo & Cristian Talavera overcame an early 1-4 deficit, winning 7 of the last 9 games
to take their match as well.
