Re-Cap of 3/19/12 Boys Tennis Match - Banning vs. Narbonne
Congratulations
to the Boys Tennis Team for another great effort vs. Narbonne. Despite falling short of the total team victory, there
were still several standout performances.
In singles, Juan Gomez & Miguel Pila both dominated on
the way to winning in straight sets, while Ryo Miralles & Daniel Gomez both played admirably.
In
doubles, there was plenty of drama to go around. After dropping the 1st set at 0-6, Oscar Renteria &
Jonathan Soria forced a 3rd set, and closed out a pair of tough opponents, despite missing a critical match point
at 5-4 in the 3rd. Manuel Leon & JoeAnthony Rodriguez, as well as Alex Chun & Isai Chun both pulled
out their extremely close 1st sets, yet fell in two hard fought 3-set matches.
In JV/Exhibition
action, Kevin Lam & Juan Mijares, as well as Walter Camacho & Joshua Guray won for the Pilots at 8-5 a piece.
