Re-Cap of 9/14/11 Girls Tennis Match – Banning vs. Contreras

Congratulations to the Lady Pilots Tennis Team for a dominant victory over Contreras on Wednesday.  Not only did the Pilots win 8 of 9 matches played, but they also outscored the Cobras 72 games to only 11.

In singles, Becky Rodriguez & Jamie Vasquez produced 8-0 shutouts, while Lizbeth Medina fell just short of the same with an 8-1 win.

In doubles, Luisa Martin & Angel Noriega, as well as Liesel Montañez & Renae Reyes held their opponents in check, shutting them  out 8-0, while Jocelyn Cuevas & Sabrina Serrano also won impressively, 8-2.

In JV/Exhibition action, Jackie Cabrera & Sandra Hernandez joined in on the team’s 8-0 shutout train & did the same, while Brenda Angeles teamed up with varsity teammate Luisa Martin, to do the same.

Great Job Pilots & Good Luck vs. Gardena on Monday in the team’s Marine League Opener.
