Boys Tennis Match – Banning vs. Carson
Congratulations to the Boys Tennis Team for another great effort vs. Carson on Monday.
Despite the fact that the result was the same from the first match, there were many positive points & improvements
in the team’s performance.
In
Doubles, Miguel Pila & Danny Gomez, Eric Mendez & Juan Gomez, as well as Ryo Miralles & Angel Amador swept their
doubles matches in a very dominant effort. Compared to the matchup on March 11th, in which the Pilots also swept,
but lost 29 games, including losing 2 sets, this time the Pilots outscored the Colts 37 games to 18 winning all 3 matches
in straight sets.
In Singles,
there was much improvement as well. After not winning a single game, and easily losing all 4 singles matches
the last time vs. the Colts, this time the Pilots took 6 games, led by Abraham Moreno who made his varsity
debut and managed to win 4 games vs. his opponent.
In JV/Exhibition action, Isai Chun & Enrique Esparza, as well as Oscar Renteria & Juan Mijares also won for
the Pilots, while Jonathan Arredondo & JoeAnthony Rodriguez played well vs. varsity competition.

on Wednesday!
