Re-Cap of 3/15/08 1st
Serve Tournament The 1st Serve Tournament was held at West Torrance HS & at two other
sites in Orange County and San Diego over two weekends: March 8th & March 15th. Put on by the SCTA (Southern California
Tennis Association), the tournament hosted over 40 of the top teams in all of southern California. While taking their
lumps against Valencia & Sage Hill, the Pilots were able to notch victories over Ridgeview & Lakewood. The tough
competition is sure to help us out, once the Marine League season really gets going.
