Re-Cap of 4/1/08 Match: Banning vs. Gardena
Congratulations to the Boys Tennis Team for their dominant
7-0 victory over Gardena on Tuesday. Not only did the Pilots not lose a single match, but they produced
their most dominant effort of the season so far, outscoring the Panthers 116 games to only 17, including exhibition matches.
Special recognition
goes out to Jon Melgar & Will Guzman at singles, as well as doubles players, Hernan Suarez & Ricardo Zaragoza who
all produced perfect 6-0, 6-0 “dozen donuts” wins, while several other teammates came close to doing the same.
In exhibition play #1 Doubles Gabriel Hernandez & Ignacio Torres, #2 Doubles Justin Garcia & Diego
Mayorga, as well as #3 Doubles Jesus Valladolid & Richard Cortez all easily won their matches vs. Varsity-level competition.
