Re-Cap of Boys Tennis Match - Banning vs. Washington 4/20/10
Congratulations to the Boys Tennis Team for completing the season sweep over Washington on Tuesday. Once again,
the Pilots dominated the Generals winning all 7 varsity matches, as well as all 4 JV/Exhibition matches, as both teams battled
the elements, through rain, cold & wind.
In
Singles, Ryo Miralles made his debut at the #1 spot & dominated his opponent in a straight-set, shutout drubbing.
Daniel Gomez followed suit, producing the same score. Meanwhile Kwang Lee & Miguel Pila also won, giving up a mere
4 games in their matches combined.
In Doubles,
Hernan Suarez & Justin Garcia, as well as Marcus Macias & Daniel Gomez also brought home the "dozen donuts",
with 6-0, 6-0 wins, while Joseph Mejia & Alex Chun won convincingly as well.
In JV/Exhibition, Eric Mendez & Angel Amador, as well as Kevin Reyes & Juan Gomez shutout
their Varsity opponents, while Robert Guerrero & Steve Chavez also dominated their Varsity opponents.
Meanwhile, Jonathan Arredondo teamed up with his varsity teammate, Daniel Gomez, and defeated their Varsity opponents
easily.
