Congratulations to the Pilots for a tremendous effort vs. Carson on Tuesday.  In the previous 10 matches vs. the Colts, the Pilots only managed to wrestle 1 individual match away (out of 70) from the Colts, yet despite Thursday's loss, the Pilots dominated & swept the doubles matches, taking 3 individual matches this time around.

In Singles, the Pilots again struggled vs. a very talented field, yet both Jamie Vasquez & Lizbeth Medina managed to win 5 games combined & stayed close early on.

In Doubles Melissa Garibay & Rebeca Rodriguez dominated their 1^st varsity match vs. Carson, shutting out their opponents 8-0.  Meanwhile, Sandra Medina & Patty Ledesma had no problem in their match, while Kathy Ngo & Victoria Martinez served notice that they were among the very best doubles players in the entire Marine League, facing off against Carson's #1 doubles & winning 8-1.

In JV/Exhibition action, Cristine Nafarrete & Jenny Castellon grinded out a close tie-break win, while Angel Noriega & Carmi Lares just missed out on the same in a tie-break of their own.  Dalilia Cornejo & Luisa Martin avenged their earlier losses with a 6-1 win.
