Congratulations to the Pilots for a dominant
6-1 win vs. Gardena in the season opener on Tuesday. Despite missing their Head Coach, Coach Furuya stepped in admirably
& helped lead the Pilots to the win.
In Singles, Kathy Ngo, Luisa Martin & Wendy Arreola all won in convincing
fashion, while Dalilia Cornejo fought hard in a close, tough match.
Sweeping the Doubles for the Pilots, Sandra Medina
& Patty Ledesma, Melissa Garibay & Rebeca Rodriguez, as well as Jamie Vasquez & Lizbeth Medina outscored their
opponents 24-8 overall.
