Re-cap of 9/21/09 Girls Tennis Match - Banning @ Westchester
Congratulations to the Pilots for a great
effort vs. Westchester on Monday. Despite falling short of the victory, there were several standout performances, especially
given that the Pilots were playing without two of their top players & several of their top subs as well.
In Singles,
Lizbeth Medina took 1 game from her opponent in her first singles match at #2 singles.
In Doubles, Luisa Martin &
Jamie Vasquez led their opponents for most of the match, before finally succumbing, while Kathy Ngo & Sandra Medina posted
a dominant 8-4 win, before playing an even tougher opponent in an extra exhibition match.
