Re-cap of 10/25 Match vs. Washington

Congratulations to the Girls Tennis Team for finishing the regular season with 9 wins and only 2 losses after a 7-0 forfeit victory over Washington on Thursday. The fact that the match was not played was somewhat disappointing as the Pilots were looking to celebrate the seniors in its first “Senior Day.” The Lady Pilots were also looking to improve upon the scores from the last match in which the Pilots outscored the Generals 48 games to only 5.

After winning only 3 games and losing 10 in 2003, this year’s 9-2 record completes the turnaround and announces the arrival of Banning Girls Tennis as a legitimate tennis school. Now, it’s on to the playoffs as the Pilots await the decisions of the L.A. City Section Committee to determine the Pilots’ seeding information, both for the team playoffs as well for the individual playoffs.
