Re-cap of 10/22 Match vs. San Pedro
Congratulations to
the Girls Tennis Team for another amazing win during Monday’s match versus San Pedro, clinching the sweep over the Pirates
on the season. With the overall score tied at 3-3, and as the last match on court, Norma Santamaria &
Jasmin Jimenez produced the perfect 8-0 shutout, leaving no doubt at all, giving the Pilots the fourth and final victory of
the day.
In Singles, Cristina
Alvarado once again dominated her opponent from start to finish in a strong 8-2 performance. Kathy Ngo
came extremely close to forcing a tie-break in her match, improving upon her previous performance.
Special recognition also goes out to #2 Doubles Adriana Garcia & Melissa Hernandez, as well as
#1 Doubles Nancy Melgoza & Cinthya Monroy who fought off some pesky opponents (& jet lag-Nemo) to close out a couple
of close ones.

Varsity/Exhibition
In Exhibition action, Graziel Nafarrete & Sandra Medina joined their Varsity teammates, and produced
a 6-0 shutout as well.
