Re-cap of 3/13 Match vs. L.A.C.E.S

Congratulations the Boys’ Tennis Team for a great 5-2 win in yesterday’s match versus LACES. After defeating LACES last year in controversial fashion, the Pilots played some dominating tennis to leave no doubt or controversy whatsoever, as all five Pilot victories came in straight sets. Special recognition goes out to #1 doubles, Jacob Loy & Fernando Moncloa who produced the rare “dozen donuts” as they imposed their will in a 6-0, 6-0 win.

In singles play, #1 Luis Moreno bounced back beautifully from last week’s performance, as #3 singles Fernando Ledesma, also played very well in his first singles action in over a year. #4 singles, Juan Tafolla’s 6-1, 6-1 victory clinched the contest for the Pilots, as one of the two remaining matches on court.

In the other doubles victory of the day, #2 doubles Jonathan Melgar & Rosendo Tolento played great tennis as they continually fought off their pesky opponents, who just wouldn’t go away.

Great job, Pilots, and good luck as the team opens league play vs. San Pedro on Friday at Daniels Field.
